Payment Methods

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept all major credit and debit cards without surcharges. Alternatively, payment can be made by cheque but we will have to wait for clearance before sending goods, this can delay your order by up to 3-4 days. For some companies we offer 30 day account facilities, please contact the sales team for application details - 01483 456606.

Cards can be taken on-line using our Secure SSL shopping system or by calling us directly. For cheque payment you still enter your details into the shopping cart system, but simply enter cheque as your payment method.

All prices quoted are in £ sterling. UK and EU residents pay the VAT inclusive price (inclusive at the current rate of 20.0%). Non-EU residents/VAT exempt pay the VAT exclusive price (subject to an administrative fee for VAT reclaim forms).
Payment terms are cash, cheque (subject to guarantee/clearance), credit/debit card, and bank draft/building society cheque or bank transfer. Personal or business cheques not covered by a guarantee card are subject to a 10 working day clearance period. Express clearance is available at a small charge.

30-day credit terms may be offered to approved accounts.

Shipping And Handling

A Standard Delivery charge of £10.00 + VAT is added to all orders weighing under 10kg being delivered to mainland England, Wales and Scotland. A charge of £0.50p + VAT is added per Kg to all packages over 10Kg being delivered to the rest of England, Wales and Scotland.

A Standard Delivery charge of £25.00 + VAT is added to all orders weighing under 20kg being delivered to Northern Ireland and Eire.

Any overseas delivery will need to be arranged prior to the order being sent. The charge will be dependant on destination and weight, so we will contact you to agree the final delivery charge before the order is processed.

Delivery Time
At Ash Telecommmunications LTD, we aim for 3-day delivery. Any product ordered before 2.00 pm on any business day (Monday - Friday excluding Bank Holidays) should be delivered the next business day before 5.30 pm (assuming the item is in stock).

Orders taken after 2.00pm will be dispatched the next day. Any order made on a Friday after 2.00 pm will be dispatched the following Monday (excluding Bank Holidays) for delivery Tuesday.

Though every effort is made by Ash Telecommmunications LTD & the couriers to achieve next day delivery, the standard delivery charge does not guarantee this goal.

Ash Telecommmunications LTD relies upon the services of a third party courier. There are unfortunately a few occasions when the couriers fail to perform the service that they are required to. Though this happens rarely, it does occur, and we cannot be held responsible for the late delivery of an item.

It is not always possible to manage next day delivery to non-mainland England, Wales and Scotland, as well as Ireland. This is dependant on the accessibility of your address.

Who is our courier?
For orders to be delivered within the UK mainland, the courier used will be DPD or UPS, you should arrange for someone at your address to be in and sign for the parcel on the expected delivery date. Where a parcel cannot be delivered (e.g. no-one at home), a card will be left by DPD or UPS with a telephone number to call and the address of the nearest depot where your order will be placed.

Tracking your parcel
When your order is dispatched you will receive an email confirming your order is being delivered.
Occasionally parcels are delayed due to poor addressing/sign posting. We may need to give DPD or UPS your telephone number in case they need to contact you regarding the delivery. This information will not be kept by DPD or UPS or used by any other third party.

If your products have been damaged?
If the goods are damaged upon receipt please call us on 01483 456606 or email: sales@ashtelecom.co.uk within 7 days of delivery.

Your Right To Cancel

Orders taken after 2.00pm will be dispatched the next day. Any order made on a Friday after 2.00 pm will be dispatched the following Monday (excluding Bank Holidays) for delivery Tuesday.

If you decide you no longer wish to continue with an order, you must advise us as soon as possible before despatch via any contact method. Please quote any reference numbers associated with your order. If you decide to cancel after shipment, then you will be liable for payment of any delivery/collection charges.

Ethical Policy

At Ash Telecommunications we aim to work in the most efficient, and ethically correct way we can within our industry.

Our aim, like that of any business, is to make a profit. We do believe however, that in fulfilling this aim we need to maintain awareness of the social and environmental implications of the work we do. As such we have developed our own mandate for adhering to this as best we can.

We refurbish equipment that otherwise may be scrapped or disposed of in an environmentally unfriendly way.

After going through our refurbishment process the re-cycled product is re-sold at a discounted price to our clients, who choose this re-cycled product over the new product that we also supply.

Refurbished equipment has been, and is, supplied by us to the many of the large blue chip companies, to small Start-ups.

All our refurbished products carry the same warranty as the new products we supply - thus allowing the purchase of re-cycled products with the same confidence as new products. This removes the uncertainty and reason for not purchasing re-cycled products.

In terms of the ethics we employ when operating our business, we believe we offer a fair and trustworthy alternative to our competitors. When purchasing products we pay our suppliers on time, and do not aim to profit by malice in any way.

Refurbished Telepone Systems

At Ash Telecommunications we provide a full range of refurbished telephone systems & equipment alongside the telecommunications equipment that we stock.

Our refurbished telephone systems & equipment gives a discounted alternative to customers, without compromising on the quality and reliability of the equipment we sell.

To this end we fully refurbish most of the products we supply ourselves, and the balance is factory reconditioned, usually by the manufacturers. All the products we sell come with full 12-month warranty.

Our refurbished telephone systems & equipment goes through a process that includes:
Full testing of all unit features and facilities.
Replacement of line cords, curly cords, and other internal and external components and accessories where necessary.
Quality control. Any product not passing our stringent quality control standard is 'B' graded, not for sale (used for maintenance spares etc). Only products passing our inspection will be allowed onto the shelves for sale on the Ash Telecommunications website.

We do not make any pretence that the product is new, but aim to ensure our refurbished telephone systems & equipment, together with the full 12 month warranty provides a real alternative to the new telephone systems & equipment we stock.

Important - Distance Selling Regulations

Under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel a contract within seven days - starting from the day after you take delivery of the goods (a "cooling off" period). You have the right to cancel for any reason without penalty.

If you wish to cancel a contract, please write to us, fax us or e-mail clearly stating your full details, invoice number and cancellation instructions. To cancel the contract, you must give us notice within seven working days starting from the day after you take delivery or collect the order.

Once you have cancelled the contract, you have a legal "duty of care" to take good care of the goods. You must return the goods to us at your expense to the address below - we would advise that you use a recorded-delivery service for small items and an insured courier service for larger items. Please mark all parcels clearly with your returns number.

If it is more convenient, we can arrange collection by our couriers; any costs incurred will be deducted from your final refund.

We will refund you the full amount paid for the goods, less any costs to collect the goods, within 30 days of receipt of the notice of cancellation.
